This sculpture was un earthed in Mexico near Toluca in 2003 by Ramon Zepeda - El Goberno de Estado de Mexico.  It is believed to be 500 years old and a fabrication by early Mayan Indians that lived around Toluca at the Time.  It was made from clay and straw and then sun baked to a hardness that still persists today.
